Group Discussion Session

Introduction:

As part of our ongoing efforts to prepare students for placement success, a volunteer session was conducted in collaboration with Truvik Solutions. The session focused on understanding and excelling in Group Discussions (GD)—a crucial component in many interview processes.

Purpose:

To equip students with a structured understanding of Group Discussions and help them develop the confidence and skills needed to perform effectively during GD rounds in job interviews.

Goals of the Event:

• Introduce the concept and purpose of GDs in hiring processes.
• Familiarize students with different types of GD topics.
• Explain the GD process flow and participant roles.
• Share practical tips to perform confidently and effectively.
